The Baybayin Institute supports the creation of educational materials designed for learners of different ages, from introductory guides to children’s books and cultural learning resources.
Learning Materials
Accessible resources designed for schools, educators, families, and the wider public.
Children’s Books
Age appropriate materials that introduce Baybayin in engaging and meaningful ways.
Teacher Support
Content that can help teachers and facilitators present Baybayin with cultural context and care.
Encouraging informed and inspiring engagement
Through educational resources, cultural content, and public learning initiatives, the Institute aims to encourage younger generations to explore Philippine heritage while developing an appreciation for the country’s linguistic diversity.
The Institute’s educational work may include introductory guides, reading materials, workshops, visual learning tools, and future partnerships with schools, cultural bodies, and educational organisations.
Baybayin Cultural Heritage Award
To encourage scholarship, creativity, and public engagement, the Baybayin Institute plans to establish the Baybayin Cultural Heritage Award.
This recognition may honour individuals, educators, scholars, artists, or cultural practitioners who have contributed meaningfully to the study, preservation, or promotion of Baybayin and related Philippine writing traditions.
